What is RSS?  RSS (an acronym for "Rich Site Summary" and later coined "Really Simple Syndication") is a way for web sites to summarize their content, such as news articles, to make it available in a different view.
Many web sites generate RSS feeds such as the BBC News, Yahoo News, and now you can see the daily readings from using the links above.
RSS feeds can be viewed on many websites and RSS readers. For example the Mozilla Firefox web browser and Mozilla Thunderbird e-mail client both support RSS as does the My Yahoo! web portal. You can find many more RSS feeds at Bloglines, Newsgator and Google Reader.
A PodCast is a feed which includes links to audio files that you can download to a music player.
